Christ Alone Christian Fellowship is a Bible believing ministry focusing on the empowerment and restoration of the total family. God has called us to be repairers of the breach. The word breach means a broken, ruptured or torn condition or area; a gap as in a wall. We are called to repair broken relationships in the family, community, and city. God has ultimately called us to transform our community to the kingdom living.
God has called us to restore the waste places and make them places to dwell in and to fortify the walls of protection in our community. Walls are used to keep someone out or to keep someone in. A breached wall gives the enemy an entry into the protected area. The Bible speaks of a man name Nehemiah who went to his homeland and found it in ruins and the walls that surrounded the city torn down. As we look around our old neighborhoods, we find they lie in ruins and the walls of protection have been breached! Drugs have entered in! Complacency has entered in! And Apathy has entered in!
The Bible says in Isaiah 58:12, “And they that shall be of thee shall build the old waste places; thou shalt raise up the foundations of many generations; and thou shalt be called, The repairer of the breach, the restorer of paths to dwell in.” Another translation reads, “Those from among you shall build the old wastes places; you shall raise up the foundations of many generations; and you shall be called the Repairers of the Breach, The Restorer of Streets to Dwell In.” God has called us to repair our community by:
